Description

A vibrant bowl filled with succulent chicken, crisp vegetables, and fluffy rice, draped in a creamy, sweet, and slightly spicy sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 cups cooked rice (white or brown)
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 carrot, julienned
  • 3 green onions, chopped
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Sriracha sauce
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons oil (for cooking)
  • Sesame seeds (for garnishing)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Chicken: Cut the chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Cook the Chicken: Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken pieces and cook until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  3. Sauté the Vegetables: In the same skillet, add broccoli, red bell pepper, and carrot. Sauté for about 3-5 minutes.
  4. Make the Sauce: In a bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, Sriracha, and soy sauce until creamy.
  5. Combine Chicken and Vegetables: Return the chicken to the skillet, pour the sauce over everything, and stir well.
  6. Prepare the Rice: In serving bowls, place a layer of cooked rice.
  7. Assemble the Bowls: Spoon the chicken and vegetable mixture over the rice.
  8. Garnish: Top with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
  9. Serve Immediately: Enjoy your Bang Bang Chicken Bowl fresh and hot!
