- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

- 1 teaspoon baking soda

- 1 cup toffee bits
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat until golden brown and nutty.
- Let the brown butter cool slightly, then mix it with brown sugar and granulated sugar.
- Add the eggs and vanilla, mixing well until smooth.
- In another bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt; then add to the wet ingredients, folding gently.
- Stir in toffee bits and chocolate chips if using.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden, the center should seem slightly underbaked.
- Let cool before enjoying.
