Description

Crispy bacon-wrapped bombs filled with ground chicken and gooey mozzarella, tossed in spicy buffalo sauce for the ultimate comfort snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz Mozzarella Cheese (Cut into cubes)
  • 6 slices Cooked Bacon (Crumble before use)
  • 1 lb Ground Chicken
  • 1/2 cup Buffalo Sauce
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 cup Plain Flour
  • 2 large Eggs (Beaten)
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs (Panko or Regular)
  • 2 cups Vegetable Oil or Canola Oil (For frying)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Filling: In a large bowl, mix the ground chicken, crumbled bacon, buffalo sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper until all the ingredients blend seamlessly.
  2. Shape the Bombs: Take about a tablespoon of the chicken mixture, flatten it in your palm, and place a cube of mozzarella in the center. Fold the chicken mixture around the cheese, roll into a ball, and set aside.
  3. Prepare for Breading: In one bowl, place the flour. In a second bowl, beat the eggs. In a third bowl, put your breadcrumbs.
  4. Bread the Bombs: Take each chicken ball, roll it in the flour, dip it in the beaten egg, and coat it with breadcrumbs.
  5. Heat the Oil: In your deep fryer or heavy pot, heat the oil to 350°F.
  6. Fry to Perfection: Fry a few bombs at a time for about 4-5 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Serve Warm: Enjoy them hot out of the fryer for the ultimate experience.

Notes

For a healthier option, consider air frying or baking the bombs instead of frying.
