Description

A comforting fusion of Italian pasta and Indian butter chicken flavors, this dish is creamy, indulgent, and perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 250g pasta (fettuccine or penne)
  • 200g cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup butter chicken sauce
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta: Bring a pot of salted water to a boil, add pasta, and cook until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Sauté the onions: In a skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Add onions and cook until translucent, about 5 minutes.
  3. Add garlic and ginger: Stir in minced garlic and grated ginger, cooking for another minute.
  4. Stir in chicken & sauce: Add shredded chicken and butter chicken sauce, folding together and heating through for 3-4 minutes.
  5. Incorporate heavy cream: Reduce heat to low, add cream slowly while stirring continuously.
  6. Combine with pasta: Toss in reserved pasta, ensuring it’s well coated with sauce.
  7. Season with salt: Taste and adjust seasoning before serving.
  8. Serve and garnish: Plate warm and top with fresh cilantro.

Notes

Consider using Greek yogurt for a lighter version or swap chicken with sautéed vegetables for vegetarian options.
