  • 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (for sautéing)
  • 1 cup diced onions
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 cup bell pepper (diced, optional)
  • 1.5 cups orzo pasta
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese (grated)
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large pot or Dutch oven over medium heat until shimmers.
  2. Add diced chicken, season with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper, and sauté until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  3. Sauté onions and garlic in the same pot for 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
