Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup onion, chopped
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1 tablespoon mustard
- 1 package refrigerated pie crusts or puff pastry
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef and chopped onion until fully cooked. Drain excess grease.
- Stir in ketchup, mustard, salt, and pepper. Remove from heat.
- Roll out the pie crusts on a floured surface. Cut into circles about 4-5 inches in diameter.
- Place a spoonful of the beef mixture and a sprinkle of cheese on one half of each circle.
- Fold the dough over to create pockets and press the edges with a fork to seal.
- Brush the tops with the beaten egg.
- Arrange them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
