Description

A rich and indulgent sandwich featuring grilled chicken, creamy avocado, and melted cheese, all enveloped in crispy, buttery bread.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 slices of whole grain or sourdough bread
  • 1 grilled chicken breast, sliced
  • 1 ripe avocado, mashed
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Butter for spreading

Instructions

  1. Preheat your skillet over medium heat for an even cooking surface.
  2. Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
  3. On the unbuttered side of one bread slice, generously spread the mashed avocado and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  4. Layer the sliced grilled chicken evenly on top of the avocado.
  5. Sprinkle the shredded cheese over the chicken.
  6. Top with the other slice of bread, buttered side up.
  7. Place the sandwich in the preheated skillet and cook until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes; then flip and cook until the other side is crisp and the cheese is melted.
  8. Remove from the skillet, slice in half, and serve warm.
