Description

A vibrant and zesty chicken dish marinated in lime juice, spices, and honey, perfect for summer barbecues or family dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 Chicken Breasts
  • 1/4 Cup Lime Juice
  • 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 2 Tablespoons Honey
  • 1 Teaspoon Chili Powder
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Cumin
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • Salt and Pepper to Taste
  • Chopped Cilantro for Garnish

Instructions

  1. Whisk together lime juice, olive oil, honey, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl.
  2. Marinate the chicken by placing it in a resealable bag with the marinade; seal and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat before cooking.
  4. Prepare the chicken by removing it from the bag and discarding the marinade.
  5. Grill the chicken for about 6-7 minutes per side until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  6. Rest the chicken for a few minutes after grilling to allow juices to redistribute.
  7. Garnish with chopped cilantro and serve with sides of your choice.

Notes

For a richer flavor, consider using chicken thighs or allow for longer marination. You can bake or air fry the chicken if grilling isn’t an option.
