Description

A luscious cheesecake featuring rich chocolate and refreshing strawberry swirls, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups chocolate cookie crumbs
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 24 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup melted dark chocolate
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, pureed
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar (for strawberry swirl)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine chocolate cookie crumbs, melted butter, and sugar in a mixing bowl. Press into a greased springform pan and bake for 10 minutes.
  3. Beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add sugar and mix. Beat in eggs one at a time.
  4. Stir in sour cream and melted dark chocolate until luxurious and velvety.
  5. Whisk together strawberry puree, additional sugar, and lemon juice in a separate bowl.
  6. Pour the chocolate filling over the cooled crust and dollop strawberry puree on top. Use a knife to swirl.
  7. Bake for 50-60 minutes until edges are set with a slight jiggle in the center.
  8. Cool in the oven for 1 hour with the door ajar, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.

Notes

Make-ahead tips: Cheesecake can be prepared a day in advance. Avoid overmixing and rapid cooling to prevent cracks.
