Description

Crispy wonton wrappers filled with a creamy, flavorful mixture of crab meat and cream cheese, perfect for parties or cozy nights at home.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 wonton wrappers
  • 1 cup lump crab meat
  • 4 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 2 green onions (finely chopped)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • Vegetable oil (for frying)

Instructions

  1. Combine softened cream cheese, lump crab meat, finely chopped green onions, garlic powder, and soy sauce in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Spoon approximately one tablespoon of crab mixture into the center of a wonton wrapper. Moisten edges with water.
  3. Fold the wonton wrapper diagonally to create a triangle. Press edges tightly to seal.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a deep skillet over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
  5. Fry three to four bombs in hot oil for about 3–4 minutes, turning for even browning.
  6. Transfer the fried bombs to a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil.

Notes

Avoid overcrowding the pan to maintain oil temperature. Keep wonton wrappers covered to prevent drying out.
