Description

A comforting and creamy dish featuring gnocchi enveloped in a luscious cream sauce with fresh spinach and tangy feta.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package gnocchi
  • 2 cups fresh spinach
  • 1/2 cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Parmesan cheese for serving (optional)

Instructions

  1. Bring a pot of salted water to a rolling boil. Cook the gnocchi according to package instructions until they float to the surface—this typically takes just a few minutes. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Toss in the fresh spinach and cook until it wilts, around 2-3 minutes.
  4. Carefully pour in the heavy cream, stirring it together with the spinach, and bring to a gentle simmer.
  5. Add the cooked gnocchi to the skillet, tossing them to ensure they’re well-coated in the creamy sauce.
  6. Stir in the crumbled feta cheese, season with salt and pepper, and serve hot with freshly grated Parmesan cheese, if desired.

Notes

Consider using frozen gnocchi for convenience. This dish can be customized with proteins or other vegetables.
