Description

Deliciously crispy potato nests filled with cheesy goodness and customizable toppings, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 large potatoes (Russet or Yukon Gold)
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • Toppings: sour cream, sliced chives, shredded cheese, bacon bits

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Grate the potatoes using a box grater or food processor and soak them in cold water for 10 minutes.
  3. Drain the potatoes in a colander and dry them thoroughly using a kitchen towel.
  4. Mix the drained, dried grated potatoes with Parmesan cheese, egg, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  5. Grease a muffin tin generously and divide the potato mixture into the muffin cups, shaping them into nests.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
  7. Remove from the oven and cool slightly before popping them out of the muffin tin.
  8. Fill your nests with your favorite toppings and serve warm.

Notes

Make-ahead tips: Prepare unbaked nests and refrigerate for up to 1 day. For crispy leftovers, reheat in the oven.
