- 2 medium Yellow Onions (Sliced thinly)
- 2 tablespoons Avocado Oil (Can substitute with olive oil)
- 1 teaspoon Paprika (Adjust to taste)
- 1 teaspoon Coarse Sea Salt (Reduce if mindful of sodium)
- 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder (Or substitute with onion powder)
- 1 teaspoon Seasoning Salt (Homemade or store-bought)
- 1/2 teaspoon Ground Black Pepper (Adjust based on palate)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) or set your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Slice the onions thinly, about 1/4 inch thick.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the sliced onions with avocado oil, Parmesan cheese, paprika, coarse sea salt, garlic powder, seasoning salt, and ground black pepper. Toss well to coat.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spread the onion mixture in a single layer.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes in the oven or air fry for 10-15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through for even crispiness.
- Once golden and crispy, remove the chips and let them cool for a few minutes before serving.
