Description

Elevate your grilled cheese sandwich with the sweetness of Hawaiian rolls and gooey Monterey Jack cheese for a delightful, comforting meal.


Ingredients

  • 4 Hawaiian rolls
  • 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • Optional: Sliced tomatoes or crispy bacon

Instructions

  1. Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half, making sure not to cut all the way through.
  2. Preheat a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
  3. Spread butter generously on the inside of each roll.
  4. Place the bottom halves of the rolls on the skillet.
  5. Pile them high with shredded cheese.
  6. Press down gently with the top halves to seal the sandwich.
  7. Grill until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes on each side.
  8. Remove from heat, slice, and serve hot.
