A gourmet twist on a classic grilled cheese sandwich with creamy melted cheese and sweet blueberries.
Ingredients

- 2 slices of bread (sourdough, white, or whole grain)
- 2 slices of cheese (cheddar or goat cheese)
- 1/2 cup fresh blueberries
- Butter
- Honey or maple syrup (optional)
Instructions
- Heat a skillet over medium heat.
- Generously butter one side of each slice of bread.
- Place one slice of bread in the skillet, buttered side down.
- Add cheese slices on top of the bread.
- Sprinkle fresh blueberries over the cheese.
- Drizzle honey or maple syrup if desired.
- Top with the second slice of bread, buttered side up.
- Press down lightly and grill for 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
- Flip carefully and grill the other side until the cheese is melted.
- Remove from skillet, slice diagonally, and enjoy warm.
Notes
Ensure that bread is evenly buttered for a perfect crisp. Experiment with different cheeses and berries for variety.
