Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Prepare the baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and cracked black pepper.
- Arrange the chicken breasts in the baking dish.
- Cook the bacon in a skillet until crispy, then crumble over the chicken.
- Prepare the sauce by whisking together maple syrup, soy sauce, minced garlic, and black pepper.
- Combine everything by drizzling the sauce over the chicken and bacon.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
