- 1 package puff pastry
- 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup feta cheese, crumbled
- 1 egg, beaten
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil (for brushing)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, combine spinach, ricotta, feta, egg, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and cut into squares or circles.
- Place a spoonful of the filling in the center of each pastry piece.
- Fold the pastry over the filling and seal the edges with a fork.
- Place the pastries on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Brush the tops lightly with olive oil.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Serve warm as appetizers or snacks.
Notes
Make-ahead tips: Prepare filling the day before and store, or assemble pastries and freeze before baking. For a crispier version, air fry at 350°F (175°C) for 12-15 minutes.
