Description

Delightful pastries filled with a creamy blend of spinach, ricotta, and feta, perfect for appetizers or snacks.


Ingredients

  • 1 package puff pastry
  • 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (for brushing)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine spinach, ricotta, feta, egg, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  3. Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and cut into squares or circles.
  4. Place a spoonful of the filling in the center of each pastry piece.
  5. Fold the pastry over the filling and seal the edges with a fork.
  6. Place the pastries on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Brush the tops lightly with olive oil.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Serve warm as appetizers or snacks.

Notes

Make-ahead tips: Prepare filling the day before and store, or assemble pastries and freeze before baking. For a crispier version, air fry at 350°F (175°C) for 12-15 minutes.
