Description

A delightful and rich chicken dish with a buttery garlic sauce, perfect for weeknight dinners or special gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (extra for garnish)
  • 1 tsp fresh dill (optional)
  • Juice of 1 lemon (approximately 2 tbsp)
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken with salt, black pepper, and paprika.
  2. Sear the chicken in olive oil over medium-high heat for 5-7 minutes on each side.
  3. Melt the butter in the same skillet and sauté the minced garlic.
  4. Add Dijon mustard and red pepper flakes, cooking for a minute.
  5. Sprinkle in fresh parsley and dill, mixing well.
  6. Pour in chicken broth and lemon juice, and let simmer.
  7. Fold in the heavy cream to create a rich sauce.
  8. Combine the seared chicken with the sauce and let it soak in the flavors.
  9. Garnish with extra parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

For lighter versions, substitute chicken thighs or use olive oil instead of butter. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
