Description

A delightful blend of savory sausage wrapped in sweet, egg-soaked bread, perfect for breakfast or brunch.


Ingredients

  • 8 slices sandwich bread
  • 8 breakfast sausage links
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon butter or cooking oil for frying
  • Maple syrup for serving

Instructions

  1. Cook the sausages until browned and set aside.
  2. In a shallow dish, whisk together eggs, milk, sugar, and cinnamon.
  3. Flatten the bread and wrap each sausage link tightly.
  4. Dip each roll-up into the egg mixture, coating all sides.
  5. Heat butter or oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  6. Fry the roll-ups seam-side down for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown.
  7. Serve warm with maple syrup.
