Description

Delicious baked taquitos filled with seasoned ground beef and melted cheese, perfect for cozy dinners or gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
  • 10 small corn tortillas
  • 1/2 cup onion, diced
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooking spray or oil for baking

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Cook the ground beef and diced onion in a skillet over medium heat until browned.
  3. Stir in the garlic powder, chili powder, salt, and pepper; remove from heat.
  4. Place a tortilla on a clean surface, spoon a generous amount of beef mixture and sprinkle cheese into the center, then roll tightly.
  5. Repeat with remaining tortillas.
  6. Place rolled taquitos seam-side down on a baking sheet and spray lightly with cooking oil.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden and crispy, flipping halfway through.
  8. Serve with salsa, guacamole, or sour cream.

Notes

For a quicker method, try using an air fryer at 370°F (190°C) for 8-10 minutes.
