Description

Delicious and crispy potstickers filled with savory ground pork and fresh vegetables, served with a soy and ginger dipping sauce.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground pork
  • 1 cup chopped Napa cabbage
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Potsticker wrappers
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • Water for steaming

Instructions

  1. Combine the ground pork, Napa cabbage, green onions, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl.
  2. Take a potsticker wrapper and place a spoonful of the filling in the center.
  3. Wet the edges of the wrapper with water.
  4. Fold the wrapper in half and pinch the edges to seal.
  5. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in your skillet over medium heat.
  6. Place the potstickers in the skillet, flat side down, and cook until the bottoms are golden brown, about 2-3 minutes.
  7. Add a splash of water to the skillet and cover with a lid. Steam the potstickers for about 5-7 minutes.
  8. Remove the lid and let them cook for another minute to crisp up.
  9. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

Make sure your ingredients are at room temperature for even mixing and better absorption of flavors. Avoid overstuffing the potstickers to prevent bursting.
