Description

A vibrant and healthy stir-fry featuring crunchy cabbage and colorful vegetables, enhanced with soy sauce for a deep umami flavor.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 head of cabbage, chopped
  • 2 carrots, sliced
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: protein of choice (tofu, chicken, etc.)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot or wok over medium heat.
  2. Add the sliced onion and minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant, about 2 minutes.
  3. Toss in the sliced carrots and bell pepper, cooking for another couple of minutes.
  4. Stir in the chopped cabbage until it wilts down.
  5. Pour in the soy sauce and season with salt and pepper.
  6. If using a protein, add it now and cook until heated through.
  7. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

Chop vegetables a day ahead and store in an airtight container for easier cooking. Feel free to customize with different vegetables and proteins.
