Description

A comforting dish that combines classic Philly cheesesteak flavors with creamy cheese tortellini for a hearty meal.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz cheese tortellini
  • 1 lb thinly sliced steak (ribeye or sirloin)
  • 1 sweet onion, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup melting cheese (provolone or cheddar)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the cheese tortellini in boiling salted water for 3-5 minutes until tender, then drain and set aside.
  2. Sauté the onion and bell pepper in olive oil over medium heat until softened, about 5 minutes.
  3. Push the veggies aside, then add the steak, searing until browned, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Add the minced garlic and cook for another minute.
  5. Pour in the beef broth and let simmer for 3-4 minutes.
  6. Mix in the tortellini and cheese, stirring until melted and well combined.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Serve warm, enjoying the rich flavors.

Notes
