Description

A comforting and satisfying dish that combines chicken breast with a flavorful stuffing of melted cheeses and tender mushrooms.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 oz mushrooms, chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add the garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
  4. Stir in the chopped mushrooms and sauté until tender, about 5-7 minutes.
  5. Remove from heat and mix in mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses; season with salt and pepper.
  6. Slice a pocket into each chicken breast carefully.
  7. Stuff each breast with the mushroom and cheese mixture.
  8. Place stuffed chicken in a greased baking dish.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  10. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Make-ahead tips: Prepare the stuffing in advance and refrigerate. You can also use an air fryer for a quicker cooking option.
