Description

A bright and zesty grilled chicken recipe marinated in lime juice and fresh cilantro, delivering juicy and flavorful bites perfect for any gathering.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 2 limes, juiced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Blend together the chopped cilantro, lime juice, olive oil, minced garlic, cumin, salt, and pepper in a medium bowl until well combined.
  2. Place the chicken breasts into a resealable plastic bag, and pour the marinade over the top, ensuring each piece is well coated.
  3. Seal the bag, pressing out excess air, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (up to 2 hours recommended).
  4. Preheat your grill over medium-high heat.
  5. Remove the chicken from the marinade, letting excess liquid drip away, and discard the marinade.
  6. Grill the chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the juices run clear.
  7. Allow the chicken to rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

Marinating overnight enhances the flavors. Ensure to use a cooking thermometer to check doneness.
