Description

A comforting creamy chicken noodle casserole that combines tender chicken, egg noodles, and a rich sauce, perfect for family gatherings or weeknight dinners.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked egg noodles
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, corn)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (optional for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the cooked egg noodles, shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, mixed vegetables, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Pour the creamy mixture into a greased casserole dish.
  4. Add cheese on top, if desired.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes until heated through and bubbling.
  6. Cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

You can prepare the casserole a day in advance. If using fresh vegetables, partially cook them before mixing.
