Description

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil: In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat until shimmering.
  2. Cook the chicken: Season the chicken breasts generously with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Place them in the skillet, cooking for about 6-7 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  3. Sauté the garlic: In the same skillet, add the minced garlic, sautéing for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Create the creamy sauce: Pour in 1 cup of heavy cream, stirring and allowing it to simmer gently. Stir in the grated parmesan cheese, continuing to cook until the sauce becomes thick, about 3-5 minutes.
  5. Return the chicken: Place the cooked chicken back into the skillet, allowing the chicken to warm through and absorb the flavors.
  6. Garnish and serve: Finish with a sprinkle of fresh parsley and serve hot.

Notes

You can marinate the chicken ahead of time for deeper flavor. Substitute heavy cream with coconut cream for a dairy-free option.
