Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Sriracha sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Mix the Dipping Sauce: In a mixing bowl, blend together the mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, and Sriracha sauce until smooth. Set aside.
  2. Season the Salmon: Sprinkle a generous amount of salt and pepper over the salmon pieces to enhance their natural flavor.
  3. Dredge the Salmon: Set up your dredging station with flour, beaten eggs, and panko breadcrumbs. Coat each salmon piece in flour, dip in eggs, and then coat with panko.
  4. Fry the Salmon Bites: Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry the salmon bites in batches until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes on each side.
  5. Drain the Bites: Use tongs to remove them from the oil and place on paper towels to absorb excess oil.

Notes

For a lighter option, air-fry the salmon bites at 400°F for 8-10 minutes. You can also customize the flavor by adding spices to the flour mix.
