- 4 flaky croissants, torn into pieces
- 6 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 2 cups shredded cheese (e.g., cheddar, mozzarella)
- 1 cup cooked breakfast sausage or bacon, crumbled
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Generously grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with butter or non-stick spray.
- Whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper until completely smooth.
- Layer the torn croissant pieces in the greased baking dish.
- Sprinkle the crumbled sausage or bacon and half of the shredded cheese over the croissants.
- Pour the egg mixture gently over the top.
- Top with the remaining shredded cheese.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown and set in the center.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving. Garnish with parsley if desired.
