- 2 lbs flank steak
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- Juice of 2 limes
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- Tortillas for serving
Instructions
- Whisk together olive oil, minced garlic, lime juice, cumin, chili powder, salt, and black pepper until beautifully combined.
- Place the flank steak in a resealable plastic bag, pour the marinade over it, and seal the bag tightly.
- Let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least one hour, preferably overnight.
- Preheat your grill to high heat.
- Remove the steak from the marinade and grill for about 5-7 minutes on each side until your desired doneness.
- Let the steak rest for a few minutes, then slice it thinly against the grain.
