Description

A delightful sandwich featuring grilled chicken and creamy avocado, melted cheese, all wrapped in crispy bread—perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 2 slices bread
  • 1 cup cooked chicken
  • 1/2 ripe avocado
  • 2 slices cheese
  • 1 tbsp butter or mayonnaise
  • Pinch of salt
  • Pinch of black pepper
  • Optional: Tomato slices
  • Optional: Red onion slices
  • Optional: Spinach or arugula
  • Optional: Hot sauce or red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. Prepare the avocado by slicing or mashing it. Sprinkle a pinch of salt and pepper over it.
  2. Warm the chicken in the microwave or skillet if not already warm.
  3. Assemble the sandwich by layering cheese, chicken, avocado, and any optional toppings on one slice of bread.
  4. Butter the outer sides of both slices of bread.
  5. Grill on medium heat for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and cheese bubbles.
  6. Slice the sandwich in half and serve warm.

Notes

Use day-old bread for extra crunch. Preheat the skillet for optimal grilling.
