Description

A delicious and creamy guacamole that perfectly balances the richness of avocados with zesty lime and jalapeño for a delightful dip.


Ingredients

  • 2 Ripe Avocados
  • 1/4 Onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Cilantro, chopped
  • 1 Lime, juiced and zested
  • 1 Jalapeño, chopped (seeds removed for less heat)
  • 12 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 Tomato, diced
  • Salt, to taste

Instructions

  1. Start by slicing the ripe avocados in half. Remove the pit carefully and scoop the flesh into a mixing bowl.
  2. Decide how you want your guacamole—smooth or chunky. For a creamy consistency, mash the avocado with a fork.
  3. Finely chop the onion, cilantro, jalapeño, garlic, and tomato. Add them to the bowl.
  4. Squeeze in the fresh lime juice and sprinkle the lime zest over the mixture.
  5. Give everything a good stir until well combined.
  6. Season with salt to taste. Serve fresh with tortilla chips or as a topping for your favorite dishes.

Notes

Guacamole is best enjoyed fresh, but can be made a few hours ahead. Press plastic wrap directly onto the surface to prevent browning.
