- 1 lb ground turkey (thigh or breast)
- 1 tsp dried garlic
- 1 tsp dried onion
- 1 tsp paprika
- 2 to 3 tsp sea salt
- ½ tsp ground black pepper
- 3 tbsp pure maple syrup
- 2 to 3 tbsp fresh chopped parsley
- 4 English muffins
- 4 large eggs
- 4 slices cheddar cheese
- 4 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 large avocado
- Sea salt and pepper (to season avocado)
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
Instructions
- Combine the meats in a large mixing bowl until evenly mixed and smooth.
- Add seasonings: garlic, onion, paprika, salt, pepper, maple syrup, and parsley.
- Form patties about ¼-inch thick and place on a parchment-lined tray.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and lightly grease. Cook patties for 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown and internal temperature reaches 160°F.
- Toast the English muffins until golden brown.
- Cook eggs to your liking, seasoning with salt and pepper.
- Assemble sandwiches by spreading mayonnaise on toasted muffins, adding sausage, cheese, eggs, avocado, and lemon juice.
- Finish with the muffin top and serve.
