Description
A deliciously spicy twist on classic pigs in a blanket, combining jalapeños, creamy cheese, and savory sausage wrapped in flaky pastry.
Ingredients

- 1 package little sausages (cocktail sausages or mini hot dogs)
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 2 jalapeños, sliced
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 1 package puff pastry or crescent roll dough
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
- 1 tsp garlic powder (optional)
- 1 tsp smoked paprika (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Roll out your pastry or dough into neat squares about 3×3 inches.
- Place a generous dollop of cream cheese and a slice of jalapeño on each square.
- Add a little sausage on top of the cream cheese and jalapeño.
- Wrap the dough around each sausage and seal the ends.
- Brush melted butter over the wrapped sausages on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly and serve warm.
Notes
