Description

A tender and juicy pork tenderloin roasted to perfection with a golden, spice-kissed glaze, served with a silky gravy.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pork tenderloin
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Mix your seasoning in a small bowl, combining the garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika.
  3. Prepare the pork by rubbing it generously with olive oil.
  4. Coat the tenderloin thoroughly with the spice mixture.
  5. Roast in a roasting pan for about 25-30 minutes or until a meat thermometer reads 145°F (63°C).
  6. Let it rest for about 10 minutes after cooking.
  7. Make the gravy by melting butter in a medium saucepan, adding flour, and whisking for one minute. Gradually add chicken broth and whisk until thickened.
  8. Serve the sliced pork tenderloin with the gravy.

Notes

Consider marinating the pork a day ahead for enhanced flavor. Avoid overcooking by using a meat thermometer.
