Description

A vibrant and refreshing Pineapple Salsa made with fresh ingredients, perfect for summer gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup fresh pineapple, diced
  • 2 medium tomatoes, diced
  • 1/2 red onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • Juice of 2 limes
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare your ingredients: Gather and rinse all ingredients, then dice the pineapple, tomatoes, and red onion into small, uniform pieces. Chop cilantro and set aside.
  2. Combine in a mixing bowl: In a large mixing bowl, mix together the diced pineapple, tomatoes, and red onion.
  3. Add cilantro and lime juice: Sprinkle chopped cilantro into the mixture and squeeze lime juice over the veggies.
  4. Season and toss: Season generously with salt and fresh pepper, then gently toss everything together.
  5. Serve or chill: Serve immediately with tortilla chips or chill in the fridge for about an hour to enhance the flavors.

Notes

Make-ahead tips: Pineapple Salsa benefits from a brief chill. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Avoid using overripe pineapple for the best texture and flavor.
