Description

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

  3. Mix the dry ingredients: In a bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  4. Combine the wet ingredients: In another bowl, beat together the sugar and vegetable oil, then mix in the eggs, buttermilk, and vanilla.
  5. Add red food coloring until you achieve your desired shade.
  6. Blend the dry mix into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
