Description

A delightful steak salad featuring rich grilled steak on a bed of crunchy vegetables with a homemade Asian dressing.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz Grilled Steak (flank or sirloin)
  • 2 cups Cabbage, thinly sliced
  • 1 Cucumber, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup Homemade Asian Dressing (soy sauce, sesame oil, honey)
  • 1/2 cup Roasted Cashews

Instructions

  1. Marinate the steak for at least 30 minutes with soy sauce, garlic, and sesame oil.
  2. Grill the marinated steak on medium-high heat for 4–5 minutes on each side until desired doneness.
  3. Rest the steak for a few minutes before slicing.
  4. Slice the cabbage and cucumber while the steak rests.
  5. Assemble the salad in a large bowl with cabbage and cucumber.
  6. Slice the steak against the grain and place it on top of the salad.
  7. Drizzle the homemade Asian dressing over the salad.
  8. Add roasted cashews on top for crunch.

Notes

Make the dressing a day in advance for deeper flavor. Consider customizations like cherry tomatoes or bell peppers.
