- 1 cup seasoned stuffing mix
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 1/2 onion, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup barbecue sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Combine the ground beef, stuffing mix, milk, egg, chopped onion, salt, and pepper in a large mixing bowl. Mix until just combined.
- Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a greased baking dish.
- Prepare the glaze by mixing ketchup and barbecue sauce, then spread evenly over the meatloaf.
- Bake for about 1 hour, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
- Rest for a few minutes before slicing.
Notes
For a lighter option, substitute ground beef with ground turkey or chicken. Let rest before slicing to keep it juicy.
