Description

A comforting and flavorful meatloaf made with ground beef and seasoned stuffing mix, topped with a sweet and tangy glaze.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup seasoned stuffing mix
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup barbecue sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the ground beef, stuffing mix, milk, egg, chopped onion, salt, and pepper in a large mixing bowl. Mix until just combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a greased baking dish.
  4. Prepare the glaze by mixing ketchup and barbecue sauce, then spread evenly over the meatloaf.
  5. Bake for about 1 hour, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
  6. Rest for a few minutes before slicing.

Notes

For a lighter option, substitute ground beef with ground turkey or chicken. Let rest before slicing to keep it juicy.
