Description

A delightful fusion of Italian and Mexican cuisine featuring layers of spaghetti, seasoned ground beef, vegetables, and a creamy cheesy topping.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz spaghetti
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup corn
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 cup creamy cheese sauce
  • 1 cup bell peppers, diced
  • 1 onion, diced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente, then drain and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned, then drain excess fat.
  4. Add diced onions and bell peppers, cooking until softened.
  5. Stir in black beans, diced tomatoes, corn, taco seasoning, and mix well.
  6. Add the cooked spaghetti to the meat mixture and combine.
  7. Pour in the creamy cheese sauce and mix until evenly coated.
  8. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and sprinkle the shredded cheese on top.
  9. Bake for 20-25 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
