Description

Decadent brownies infused with coffee and creamy caramel, combining rich chocolate flavors reminiscent of classic tiramisu.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1/2 cup strong brewed espresso or coffee
  • Chocolate shavings or cocoa powder for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. Melt the unsalted butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Remove from heat, then stir in the granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract.
  3. Combine the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt; mix until just combined.
  4. Pour half of your brownie batter into the prepared baking dish.
  5. Drizzle half of your caramel sauce and coffee over the brownie base.
  6. Carefully pour the remaining batter over the caramel mix and drizzle the remaining caramel and coffee on top, swirling gently with a knife.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  8. Allow the brownies to cool completely, then cut into squares and garnish.
