Description

A thick, juicy burger patty oozing with rich, creamy butter and topped with fresh ingredients, perfect for backyard barbecues and family dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb Ground Beef (80/20 lean-to-fat ratio)
  • 4 tbsp Unsalted Butter
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • 4 Burger Buns (toasted)
  • Cheese (optional, Cheddar or American)
  • Fresh Lettuce
  • Ripe Tomatoes
  • Onions
  • Pickles

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill or skillet to medium-high heat, allowing it to reach the right temperature for searing.
  2. Shape the ground beef into patties slightly larger than the buns, aiming for about ¾-inch thickness.
  3. Season both sides of each patty liberally with salt and pepper.
  4. Cook the patties on the hot grill or skillet for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium doneness.
  5. Add a small pat of butter on top of each patty in the last minute of cooking.
  6. Toast the burger buns until golden brown.
  7. Assemble your burger with the patty, cheese if desired, and favorite toppings.
  8. Serve immediately while still warm.

Notes

You can prepare patties in advance and keep them in the fridge for up to a day. Avoid overworking the meat for tender patties.
